A long-overdue update on a busy year! I’ve now added a Mailing List option so you can receive occasional old-school email updates on recent/current/upcoming goings-on. Just click the “Subscribe” button (above right) or go the the Contact page. I promise I won’t actor-spam you! :-)

In 2016 and so far in 2017 I have had the pleasure of working in nearly 20 film and television projects, including a return to the series Motive (I was also in the pilot episode back in 2013), playing the ever-loyal Hank Holliday alongside Trace Adkins, Judd Nelson and Kim Coates in director Terry Miles’ western Stagecoach: The Texas Jack Story, and a few visits to the Hallmark Channel, including playing the visiting Dr. Karl Strohm on When Calls The Heart. I have since had such a great time connecting with the show’s fantastic ‘Hearties’ fanbase!

Other film/tv projects have yet to air, including a recurring role in Reboot: The Guardian Code, a supporting role in Fifty Shades Freed (the final film in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy) and Netflix’s mega-exciting upcoming futuristic drama series Altered Carbon. Can’t say too much about these and other upcoming projects, but will be sure to update soon about release dates, etc. On that subject, I teased here in an earlier post about appearing in an upcoming big-budget studio project; the project I was referring to is Steven Spielberg’s Disney feature The BFG. I spent a wonderful 10 days on set working with Spielberg, Mark Rylance, the late, great Melissa Mathison and so many of the top artists, technicians, crew members and designers in the business.

In addition to continuing to expand further in voiceover work, I’m thrilled to have recently had the opportunity to be back on stage in Pacific Theatre’s production of John Patrick Shanley’s beautifully poignant and hysterically funny play Outside Mullingar. In every way – cast, characters, director, designers, stage management, crew, audience, theatre company, script and venue – this production was one of my most enjoyable and rewarding experiences on stage and one for which I will continue to be very grateful.

Thanks for your messages, tweets, emails and continued viewing and support!

HAPPY 2016!

Happy New Year and welcome to the latest incarnation of my site! For the redesign, I turned once again to the very talented Teagan McKay who created my original site. Thanks again Teagan!

I had opportunities in 2015 to work with extraordinary artists on a number of projects. Additionally, I had the opportunity to meet Olympus friends from around the world in our weekly cast tweet-along during the broadcast of Olympus on SyFy, Super Channel and Spike UK. Thank you to everyone who supported Olympus and reached out to connect with us!

New projects include playing the father of The Twilight Saga’s Mary Cullen in The Mary Alice Brandon File, the fan-voted winner of the film competition The Storytellers: New Voices of the Twilight Saga. The series is a collection of short films released online by Stephenie Meyer, Women In Film, Volvo Cars, and Lionsgate. This project allowed me the opportunity to work with the wonderful writer/director duo Kailey Spear and Sam Spear.

Other projects in 2015 included episodes of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (airing January 5th on Bravo), Motive (great to be back after appearing in the pilot episode in 2013), the fantastic comedy web series Almost Actors, and the pilot episode of the thrilling new horror series The Wilding (USA Network). I’ll be sure to write more about The Wilding as it nears its air date. Film projects included the horror-suspense feature The Hollow Ones (working title) for Broken Mirror Films, a brief cameo – through the magic of green screen and CGI! – in the feature The Devout, appearances in the funny short film I Wanna Date U, the PSA Give It Up (happily reuniting with the incredible Soska Sisters!) and a small role in a big-budget studio film set for world release in the summer of 2016. More on that soon!…

Finally, I finished 2015 and am beginning 2016 on stage as a cast member of Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s The Rivals, produced by the award-winning classical company Blackbird Theatre and directed by the great Johnna Wright. So tickled to be working in this very funny play with an extremely talented cast and crew!

OLYMPUS

Picture 5

I’m very excited to announce the premiere of my latest project: OLYMPUS. This Syfy Channel series follows Hero as he transforms from a fresh-faced and raw young man to a ruthless leader of men and a match for the gods themselves.  I play Lord Pallas, King Aegeus’ brother and rival to his throne. Please see the gallery for Pallas Pics! I am thrilled to be part of this epic story and extremely proud of the talented team behind this adventure. Tune in on April 2 on Syfy Channel, Super Channel and TMG (Germany)!! #OlympusTV
