I play burlesque troupe manager Jack Fontaine in this "mockumentary" film, which is screening at film festivals around the world and has been picked up for limited broadcast and sales by Angerman Distribution. The film was conceived and directed by Bryan Skinner. All of the actors completely improvised their dialogue and activities based on scene outlines provided by Bryan.

MADELEINE SHERWOOD
Posted on Aug 11 2008

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to spend five months studying under legendary actor and teacher Madeleine Sherwood.

Madeleine is a veteran of stage, film and television. She originated many classic roles of the modern theatre, including Abigail in Arthur Miller's The Crucible, Mae/Sister Woman in Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Miss Lucy in Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth.

She has appeared in over fifty film and television productions, including reprising her roles in both Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (with Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman) and Sweet Bird of Youth (with Paul Newman and Geraldine Page). Madeleine is best known to many for having portrayed the Reverend Mother Superior Placido in the television series The Flying Nun (with Sally Field).

She was a long time student of Lee Strasberg and is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio. For more information on Madeleine, click on the links below.
